Victory for Susan Fitzpatrick and Keatingstown Z Wellie Two (ISH) in Tattersalls

Keatingstown Z Wellie Two (ISH) by Z Wellie 72 (KWPN) bred and owned by Sharon Fitzpatrick and ridden by Susan Fitzpatrick jumped double clear in a time of 40.21 seconds to win the 7 Year Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Tattersalls Summer Show. One of only 4 double clears in the 7 year old class, Fitzpatrick beat off stiff competition from the twenty-five combinations who made it through to the final.

In the 5 Year Old final, eleven combinations jumped double clear to split the win. While in the 6 Year Olds, there were only four clear rounds with Jack Ryan winning on board BBS McGregor (ISH) a gelding by Cardento (HOLST) out of Random Chance (ISH) by Mark Twain (TB) bred and owned by Marguerite Ryan. He had the fastest round finishing on a time of 36.34.

There was €9,500 on offer in Tattersalls from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next and final leg takes place in Galway Equestrian centre on 25^th & 26^th August.
