- 18 November 2013, 11:50
TICKETS for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 go on general sale today (18 November). This second sales period – the first was reserved for National Federations and their members – is for grouped tickets in the form of passes allowing access to several events. In total, 15,000 passes will be on sale from today until 3 March 2014.
Tickets for all seven FEI disciplines at the Games – Jumping, Dressage and Para-Dressage, Eventing, Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining – are available as a selection of Sensation and Discovery Passes. Sensation Passes, which are geared towards equestrian enthusiasts, offer connoisseurs the choice of one or several disciplines, including the Final. Discovery Passes are ideal for non-specialists, enabling spectators to experience different disciplines over the course of one or two days. Both types of pass ensure access to the Games Village for the period covered by the pass.
The public ticket sale launch offers attractive rates, with passes costing from as little as €16. And the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 will be a family friendly experience, with a 50% reduction for children aged 12 and under.
Ticket purchases can be made online through the official ticketing website of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. Orders are limited to six identical passes per day, with a limit of 24 passes in total over the duration of the event.
“Ticket sales for next year’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ in Normandy have been very strong so far,” FEI Secretary General Ingmar De Vos said. “To have already sold more than 130,000 places to the equestrian family in France and overseas has exceeded all expectations and we are expecting even greater numbers now that ticket sales are open to the general public. We’re looking forward to sold-out venues and huge cheering crowds in Normandy next year.”
Individual tickets will go on sale on 4 March 2014, subject to availability.
