Another milestone for Irish pony dressage

IRISH High Performance Pony Dressage squad member Robyn O Neill and Belsassir gained their qualification mark for the 2015 European Championships for Ponies when scoring 60.855% in the FEI Team competition at Compiegne CDI, France last Friday.
This brings the total number of pony/rider combinations eligible to compete in the forthcoming championships to be held in Malmö in August to six, the highest number ever to have achieved the qualification standard for Irish pony Dressage.
High Performance pony dressage manager Anne Marie Dunphy commented “I am delighted to have six combinations qualified for the championships, we are now getting more riders out on the international circuit which is building strength in the squad”.
At the same show in the Young Rider division, Bethany Quinn and Has to be Fun booked their ticket to the Young Rider European Championships in Vidauban when scoring 62.10% In the Young RiderIndividual test.
Sophie Walsh and Horseleap Bruno continued to show consistent form when scoring 64.17% and 64.35% in the team and individual competitions respectively.
