A superb performance from Irish Eventing rider Susie Berry has seen her take third place on the podium in the CCI4*-L at the prestigious Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in the UK.
Riding the 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding John The Bull, Berry, who was the only Irish rider in a competition that attracted 90 competitors, scored an excellent 27.9 in Friday’s opening Dressage phase. This was followed by a perfect clear inside the time in Saturday’s Cross Country and another flawless performance in today’s final Show Jumping as the Irish rider completed the tough Blenheim competition on her Dressage score.
Britain’s Yasmin Ingham took victory aboard Banzai Du Loir on 25.2 while Rosalind Canter took runner-up spot with Lordships Graffalo on 27.1.
