Children on Horse /Junior/Young Rider Showing Jumping  European Championships Hotel

Dear Parent or Guardian

As you are aware the Children on Horse /Junior/Young Rider Showing Jumping  European Championships are to be held in Fontainebleau, France 9th-15th July 2018. The High Performance COH/J/YR High Performance Committee have made a strategic decision to attend three Nations Cup, a decision which the  COH/J/YR High Performance Committee  believe is necessary in order to maximise the teams performances at the Europeans Championship.  The proposed Nations Cup venues are listed below :

• CSIO Opglabbeek 5 – 8 April 2018
• CSIO Fontainebleau 3 – 6 May 2018
• CSIO Wierden 30 May – 2 June 2018
• CSIO Hagen 12 June – 17 June 2018 (TBC)

As outlined above there is an additional Nations Cup on the High Performance plan for 2018. The consequence of this addition is that  the High Performance COH/J/YR High Performance Committee are unfortunately not in a position to reserve and pay for rooms for the athletes and family as has been historically the case.  Athletes competing at the European Championships will receive their Gain sponsorship, HSI travel bursary and entry fee paid for the Championship horse. We would strongly advise Parent/ Guardian families of Athletes whom are anticipating competing in Children on Horse /Junior/Young Rider Showing Jumping  European Championships are to be held in Fontainebleau, France 9th-15th July to make accommodation arrangements as soon as possible

Athletes competing at the European Championships will receive HSI travel bursary and entry fee paid for the Championship horse.
