Dressage pony squad continue to impress

TEAM Ireland’s High Performance Pony Dressage squad produced impressive results over the weekend at the National Winter Dressage Finals at Cavan Equestrian Centre.

In the FEI Individual test Alana Cazabon Sullivan and Mavarick S scored 70.67% to take the top honours, with Katie Burns and Caracas 11 2nd on 69.26% and Emily Kate Robinson and Tisrara Hill 3rd with 65.30%.

High Performance Development Squad rider Tara Hayes and Bantiss Holy Joe scored 74.90% to win the hotly contested U25 Championship, recording her biggest dressage success to date.

Leading her squad by example at Cavan, Team manager Anne Marie Dunphy kicked off the weekend on Saturday by winning the Intermediare 11 Championship with her top horse Urbanus and completing the Big Tour double on Sunday when scoring 67% to win the Grand Prix Championship.
