FEI Nations Cup action moves to Rome

Team Ireland Equestrian will compete in the next leg of the top level FEI Nations Cup Series this weekend at Rome (ITA). Nations Cup jumping, at the beautiful Piazza Di Siena venue, kicks off at 13.30 GMT on Friday. This will be the second points-scoring leg for the Irish showjumping team, who are sponsored by The Underwriting Exchange and Devenish. In the lower level Nations Cup Series, Ireland will also field a team at Lisbon (POR), with jumping commencing at 18.00 GMT on Friday.

Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Ireland will be represented at Hamburg (GER), Eindhoven (NED), Reims (FRA), Lexington Kentucky (USA), Ciekocinko (POL), Bonheiden (BEL) and Caledon Ontario (CAN). Irish eventers compete at Houghton Hall (GBR), drivers at Hopetoun (GBR) and para dressage riders at Roosendaal (NED).

This week almost 100 entries have been made for 38 Irish riders competing in international competition worldwide. This brings the total number of FEI entries for Irish riders to date in 2017, to in excess of 3,000 entries. All Irish international entries for this week’s shows are now available to view by clicking on the individual shows under ‘FEI Entries & Results’.
