GAIN Irish Pony team named for FEI Dressage European Championships

Horse Sport Ireland are delighted to confirm the GAIN Equine Nutrition Irish team that will represent Ireland at the FEI Dressage European Championships for Ponies, which takes place at Strzegom in Poland from 3-7 August 2022.
The nominated combinations are as follows:
Cork’s Jessica Grogan with Klein Roderijs Gold Fee
Waterford’s Lilly Larkin with Blokland’s Hoeve’s Amor
Armagh’s Elle McDonald with Dante Alighieri
Wexford’s Oscar O’Connor with Top Hero 2 or Veenstra’s Grapjas
Non travelling reserve:
Sophia Doheny and Newoak Gold Rush
Horse Sport Ireland Youth Dressage High Performance Director Anne Marie Dunphy said:
“I am very pleased with the team I have selected to represent us in Strzegom. We have a good mix of experienced and up-and-coming talent. All four athletes have worked hard and produced strong performances during the selection period, earning their place on the team.
