Greg Broderick and MHS Going Global set for second Olympic challenge in Rio today

Tipperary’s Greg Broderick and The Irish Sport Horse MHS Going Global continue their Olympic journey in Rio today, with the second round of the individual competition starting at 2pm.
The Irish pair have been drawn third to jump of the 69 starters in what is also the first round of the team competition.

Broderick will be aiming to finish among the top 45 who will advance to tomorrow’s third round and carries forward eight faults from Monday’s tough opening competition which saw plenty of big names fail to make the cut.
The field will be reduced to just 35 for Friday’s final individual medal decider, where all competitors start on a zero score.
