High noon showdown for Ireland’s Judy Reynolds as Dressage World Cup Final gets underway today in Gothenburg

The FEI Dressage World Cup Final gets underway today (Friday) at Gothenburg in Sweden, with Ireland’s Judy Reynolds and the Joe and Kathleen Reynolds-owned gelding Vancouver K drawn as the first combination to enter the arena when the competition begins at 12 noon Irish time.
A total of 18 combinations from 12 countries will take part, and today’s opening Grand Prix competition will determine the starting order for Saturday’s Grand Prix Freestyle to Music (3pm start Irish time) to decide who will be crowned 2019 FEI World Cup Dressage champions.
This years final has attracted an incredibly strong line-up, with Laura Graves (USA), Helen Langehanenberg (GER) and Daniel Bachmann Andersen (DEN) just some of the top names hoping to dethrone World No. 1 and defending champion Isabel Werth (GER).
