Horse industry worth over €1.1bn annually to the Irish economy

ENTERPRISE Ireland is currently supporting a group of leading Irish equine companies to attend the China Horse Fair in Beijing from 14-16 October, 2015 following the success of last year’s event.

The horse industry contributes in excess of €1.1 billion annually to the Irish economy and China is viewed as having major market potential with significant purchasing power.

Over 2,300 trade buyers from China’s top breeding, horse sports and leisure facilities attended the fair in 2014 and Irish companies are keen to establish a strong presence in the market.
