Horse Sport Ireland announce ‘Becky Cullen’ as High Performance Coach for Ireland’s Pony Eventing Team

HORSE Sport Ireland have announced the appointment of Becky Cullen as High Performance Coach for Ireland’s Pony Eventing team.
The appointment was confirmed Monday 9th February following an interview process.
Becky will replace Polly Holohan, who previously held the role, Polly has stepped down to concentrate on developing her own horses.
Becky holds a Horse Sport Ireland Level 2 coaching qualification and has competed up to 4* level in eventing.
Sue Smallman will remain on as Dressage coach while Tom Doherty will take over as Show Jumping trainer. Con Kennedy will continue as team vet.
Speaking after her appointment Becky Cullen said; “The sport of eventing has been very good to me over the years and I’m excited by this new challenge that will allow me to put something back in to the sport”
HSI Equestrian Sport Co-ordinator Triona Connors said; “We are delighted to welcome Becky to our Pony High Performance Management Team her experience as a competitor and coach is a distinct advantage in the High Performance environment”
