HORSE SPORT IRELAND CONFIRMS EVENTING TEAM FOR AACHEN

HORSE Sport Ireland Eventing High Performance Manager Nick Turner has named the four combinations that will represent Ireland in the CICO 3 Star Nations Cup at Aachen CHIO in Germany from July 17th-19th.

The team in alphabetical order is:

Fraser Duffy/Primus
Sarah Ennis/Stellor Rebound (ISH)
Joseph Murphy/Electric Cruise (ISH)
Camilla Speirs/Portersize Just a Jiff (ISH)

Speaking after the announcement Nick Turner said:

“Last year was the first time Ireland was invited to compete in the Eventing Nations Cup at Aachen. I am pleased we have been invited back.

“We are sending four strong combinations with Fraser Duffy making his Nations’ Cup debut for Ireland with Primus, together with an exciting upcoming horse, Stellor Rebound with Sarah, and they join two very experienced horses – Electric Cruise and Portersize Just a Jiff with Joseph and Camilla.

“Dressage Trainer Terry Boon and Show Jumping trainer Ian Fearon will also be travelling to the event, which is one of most prestigious on the eventing calendar. We are looking forward to testing ourselves against some of the best teams in the world,” he said.
