HSI announces details of the 2014 Irish Cob Studbook Inspections

Horse Sport Ireland was Approved by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to maintain the Irish Cob Studbook on a temporary basis in October 2013. In order to facilitate the inspection of horses for the Irish Cob Studbook HSI will hold inspections for stallions, mares and geldings at the following venues:
INSPECTION DATE | VENUE |
13th March 2014 | Ross House, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan |
7th April 2014 | Topflight EC, Warrington, Co. Kilkenny |
9th April 2014 | Galway EC, Athenry, Co. Galway |
An inspection fee of €18 (including VAT) will apply and closing dates for applications is the 10th March 2014.
All horses presented for inspection will have a DNA sample taken which will be stored and processed free of charge.
