HSI Equestrian Showcase Parade 2013 Photo Gallery

FOR the second year in a row, the sun shone down on the HSI Equestrian Showcase Parade, a highlight of the 2013 Punchestown Festival Opening Ceremony on Tuesday 23rd April. To see the gallery click HERE.

Twenty-three HSI Affiliates, Sections and Native Irish Breeds entered the Parade Ring before the first race in full attire, led by the Army Equitation School with the Garda Mounted Unit bringing up the rear. Each organisation was represented by an Exhibitor and Chef d’Equipe.

A large crowd of equestrian enthusiasts gathered in force to witness this unique spectacle which showcases the full diversity of the Irish Equestrian Sector and presents the individual sports, disciplines and breeds to their best advantage.

Senior Showjumping Manager Robert Splaine toured the ring with the Aga Khan Trophy and Cian O’Connor’s Olympic medal raised aloft. Helen Kearney was also present with her three Paralympic medals on display.
