Horse Sport Ireland extends its deepest sympathies following the passing of Kevin Croke.

Kevin was a hugely respected figure in Irish equestrian sport, and made an outstanding contribution to endurance riding both in Ireland and internationally.

A long-standing member and former Chairman of Horse Sport Ireland’s Endurance Committee, Kevin dedicated many years to the development of the sport. His contribution extended beyond Ireland, with a distinguished career as an FEI official, including as a Level 4 Judge, Technical Delegate and Chief Steward.

He also served as chef d’équipe for Irish teams at European Championships and World Equestrian Games, and was instrumental in the organisation and development of endurance events in Ireland.

Kevin’s knowledge, commitment and passion for horses and equestrian sport earned him the respect of colleagues and athletes throughout the community.

Horse Sport Ireland extends its sincere condolences to Kevin’s family, friends and all those who knew and worked with him.
