HSI Foal Championship Qualifiers at Wexford Equestrian Centre 14th September 2022.

The third leg of the Horse Sport Ireland Foal Championship Qualifiers was held on Wednesday 14^th September in Wexford Equestrian. This initiative is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

The first class of the day was Pony Eventing. Donal Garland’s filly by Darkley Shelby (CP) Ballinglen Financial Income (TB) damsire Financial Reward (TB) was champion.

Champion in the Pony Show Jumping section went to Stephen McDonald’s colt by Weststar Sunny (CP) out of Dancing Jasmine (ISH) by Moores Clover (ISH).

While in the Horse foal sections PJ Farrell’s Golden Master (TB) filly out of Diamond Agustus (ISH) damsire Emperor Agustus (ISH) won both the Eventing section and the Traditional section.

Following this, winner of the Horse Show jumping section was Patrick Peare’s colt by Another Pleasure (KWPN) out of DRS Chattanooga (ISH) by Abalou Verte (KWPN)

The next qualifier for the Foal Championship is on Monday 19^th September in Creagh EC. The final two qualifiers will take place in CoilÓG EC on the 27^{th of} September and Tubberbride EC on the 3^rd October, with the final being held for those who qualify in Cavan EC on Wednesday 19^th October.
