HSI Foal Championship Qualifiers CoilÓg results

The penultimate qualifier for the Foal Championship took place today, 27th September, at CoilÓg EC. This initiative is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

The winner of the first class, Pony Eventing, was Sharon Walsh with her colt foal by Sander (NWP) out of Romanno Royal Angel (BRP) damsire Stanley Grange Regal Heights (BRP).

Frank Redmond’s filly foal, by Darkley Shelby (CP), was the winner of the Pony Show Jumping class. This filly is out of Eastern Medley (ISH), with damsire Kildromin Major (CP).

The third class of the day was the Horse Eventing class. The winner of this class, and the Traditional section, was Maria Melvin’s colt by Crosstown Dancer (ID) out of Desert Moon (TB), damsire Desert King (TB).

The final class saw JAG Equestrian’s colt win the Show Jumping Horse section. The colt is by Castlefield Kingston (OS), out of Julia Caesar I S, damsire Zambesi (KWPN)

The final qualifier for the Foal Championship is on Monday 3rd of September in Tubberbride EC, with the final being held for those who qualify in Cavan EC on Wednesday 19th October.
