HSI Foal Qualifier Results from Wexford EC and Greenogue EC

The Foal Championship aims to identify, evaluate, and reward breeders who have bred a foal that has the potential to be competitive at the highest level in the disciplines of show jumping or eventing.
The final two HSI foal qualifiers took place on Wednesday 29th September at Wexford Equestrian Centre and Monday 4th October at Greenogue Equestrian Centre. These qualifiers were judged by Michael Hutchinson and Shane Flavin. We would like to congratulate the winners of both these qualifiers and will see them all again at the Final next Tuesday 19th October from 1pm in Cavan Equestrian Centre.

Horse Show Jumping Foals
The horse foal Showjumping section was won by David Furlong with a colt by Tyson (KWPN) out of Bonnie (AES), by Foxglen Cruise Control (AES).

The reserve was Declan Phelan and Ciara Walsh Mc Intyre’s filly by Chacco Blue (MECKL) out of Biscaya D’Eversem (BWP), by Sheyenne de Baugy (BWP).
Horse Eventing Foals
The horse eventing section winner and reserve were Ciara Kinsella’s filly by Sir Jim Jim (ISH)(TIH) out of Ballymurphy Queen (ISH)(TIH), by Master Imp (TB) and reserve with a colt by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet (BWP out of Lisdara Impish Lady (ISH)(TIH), by Master Imp (TB). The filly also won the traditional section at this qualifier.

The pony eventing section was won by Jonathan Murphy with a filly by Riverdale Goliath (CP) out of BBS Ciscos Cavalier (ISP), by Feagh Cavalier (ISH).
