HSI Introduction to Coaching Course at Galway EC – 27th May 2014

Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) has scheduled an Introduction to Coaching course which will run at Galway Equestrian Centre, Peakroe, Athenry, Co. Galway on Tuesday 27th May 2014. This course is a one day courses and is designed to provide candidates with basic coaching skills and techniques, a better understanding of modern competition requirements and a detailed understanding of the HSI Coaching Programme.

The course is very practical in its presentation. The theory sessions are completed in groups and most of the course contact time is spent in the arena watching and participating in practical coaching sessions. The HSI Introduction to Coaching course is the first step on the coaching ladder and is a requirement to participate in the HSI Level 1 Apprentice Coach course.
