HSI Sport Horse Foal Qualifier Results from CoilOg Equestrian Centre

The Sport Horse Foal Championship aims to identify, evaluate and reward breeders who have bred a foal that has the potential to be competitive at the highest International level in the disciplines of Show Jumping or eventing.

The region 1 HSI sport horse foal qualifier took place on Friday 4^th August at CoilOg Equestrian Centre. The show jumping qualifier was judged by Tiernan Gill and Richard Bourns and the Eventing qualifier was judged by Janet Murray and George Chapman.

Show Jumping Foals
The colt section was won by Michael Callery with a colt by Air Jordan Z (OLD) out of Greenacres Quality (ISH)  by OBOS Quality 004 (OLD). The reserve was awarded to Derry Rothwell’s colt foal by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet (KWPN) out of Millennium Cruise (ISH) by Crusiing (ISH).

The show jumping filly section was won by Paschal Coffey with a filly by Plot Blue (KWPN) out of Oldtown Sally K (ISH) by Cruising (ISH). The reserve show jumping filly went to Donal Callery’s foal by Triomphe De Muze (SB) out of Princess Ava (ISH) by Clover Echo (ISH).

Eventing Foals
The colt section was won by Katy Murphy with a colt by SIEC Livello (HOLST) out of BM Belwin Babe (ISH) by Kings Master (ISH). The reserve was awarded to Derry Rothwell’s colt foal by Ars Vivendi (HOLST) out of Greenhall Indicator (ISH) by Limmerick (HOLST).

The eventing filly section was won by Frances Horgan with a filly by DS Are You With Me (HOLST) out of Porsch Lady (ISH) by Porsch (BWP). The reserve eventing filly went to Meave Bailey’s foal by Cougar (ISH) out of Fuerty Failte (RID) by Welcome Flagmount (ID C1).
