Redmond Property Maintenance on board as Official Coverage Sponsor

The HSI Studbook Showjumping Series will be broadcast live – beginning this weekend with the final of the Barnadown leg on IrishSport.TV.

Horse Sport Ireland will broadcast this video coverage in association with Redmond Property Maintenance, who have kindly come on board as Official Coverage Sponsor of the Series, culminating in the Grand Final at Tattersalls on July 23/24.

In what is seen as vitally important in order to showcase young equine talent for owners, breeders and riders, double clear rounds from the five and six-year old finalists, as well as the top six from the seven-year-old final will be livestreamed, with each individual round also posted each Monday morning.

These individual videos will be posted on Horse Sport Ireland’s Facebook page, affording an opportunity to further showcase the ability of all DAFM-approved Studbook young horses taking part in the series to almost 100,000 followers. They will also be archived on IrishSport.TV.

“We are delighted that Redmond Property Maintenance are sponsoring coverage of the HSI Studbook Series,” HSI Marketing and Communications Executive Ian Gaughran said.

“While the return of crowds to the venues after the pandemic is most welcome, the additional coverage given to the young horses taking part in the competition is crucial to those owners and breeders hoping to develop and find national and international buyers.

“There are stars of the future in action at every leg of the series and now we can show prospective buyers exactly how good the talent is in the Studbook Series.

“Mark Redmond, Managing Director of Redmond Property Maintenance, has always had an association with sport horses and has a genuine love for the sport. We are delighted to welcome Redmond Property Maintenance as Official Coverage Sponsor of the Series and we look forward to building a long relationship with Mark and the team.”

For Redmond Property Maintenance, the appeal of supporting the development of young horses and Ireland’s breeders and owners, made the decision to collaborate with HSI on the Studbook Series an easy one.

“We have been looking for the right sponsorship opportunity for a while and the partnership with HSI was the perfect fit,” Mark Redmond said.

“I have been involved with horses since I was very young, breaking horses before they went Showjumping, and I know how important it is for young talent such as that competing in the Studbook Series to be showcased – especially these days – and to able to support that through sponsorship of the coverage of the series is an honour.

“We look forward to working closely with HSI in building out this partnership. We’d get a huge kick out of knowing, one day, a horse who competed in the Studbook Series, went on to five-star level and jumped at the big global events.”

Sonja Egan, Interim Head of Breeding Innovation and Development, said: “We are delighted to have Redmond Property Maintenance come on board as the Official Coverage Sponsor of the HSI Studbook Series. Industry feedback has sought additional digital coverage of the series and Horse Sport Ireland would like to thank Mark Redmond of Redmond Property Maintenance in sponsoring coverage of these classes.

“We are very much looking forward to the second leg of the series in Barnadown and the widespread coverage this sponsorship will provide for our Irish-bred stars of the future.”

The finals of the HSI Studbook Series from Barnadown will be broadcast live on Sunday from 8.30am at http://irishsport.tv/live. See www.sjilive.ie for start times.
