Ireland’s Anna Merveldt and Esporim take fifth place in Munich four-star Grand Prix

A score of 68.087% has given Ireland’s Anna Merveldt and the 10-year-old gelding Esporim a fifth place finish in today’s (Friday) four-star Grand Prix at Munich in Germany.
Merveldt and Esporim were making first international appearance together since the FEI European Dressage Championships in Rotterdam (NED) back in August where they helped the Irish team to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
The Munich Grand Prix was won by Germany’s Frederic Wandres and Westminster on a score of 73.022%. Munich’s Freestyle Grand Prix takes place on Saturday followed by the Grand Prix Special on Sunday.
