Ireland’s Conor Swail up to ninth place on World Rankings – Seven Irish in top 50

A spectacular run of form in recent months has seen Co Down’s Conor Swail climb to ninth place on the latest Longines FEI Show Jumping rankings released this week.

Three World Cup wins has helped Conor Swail move up to ninth place on the Longines World Show Jumping rankings
Swail claimed no less than three FEI World Cup wins towards the end of 2021 putting him at the top of the North American FEI World Cup standings. Offaly’s Darragh Kenny remains at No.16 on the World Rankings, one place ahead of Cork’s Shane Sweetnam at No.17. No less than seven Irish riders are inside the world top 50 including Denis Lynch (No. 23), Jordan Coyle (No. 34), Bertram Allen (No.39) and Mikey Pender (No.43). Pender is also at No.3 on the U25 World Rankings.
Sweden’s Peder Fredricson remains as World No.1 for the fourth consecutive month.
