Ireland’s first home international of 2017 takes place this weekend

Millstreet (IRL) hosts the first of Ireland’s FEI home international competitions this weekend, with the CSI 1* kicking off on Thursday at the County Cork venue. Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, action takes place at Miami Florida (USA), San Giovanni In Marignano (ITA), Lanaken (BEL), Arezzo (ITA), Opglabbeek (BEL), Oliva Valencia (ESP), St Lo (FRA), Eschweiler (GER), Lier (BEL), Fontainebleau (FRA). In eventing, Ireland will be represented at Burnham Market (GBR) and in dressage at both Wiener Neustadt (AUT) and Sint-Truiden (BEL).
This week over 350 international entries have been made for more than 100 Irish riders, competing in FEI competitions. To date in 2017, Irish entries in international competition have exceeded 2,100 entries, representing over 200 riders competing in almost 20 countries worldwide.
