IRELAND’S POLO TEAM PLAY IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SATURDAY

RICHARD Fagan, Sebastian Dawnay, Max Hutchinson and Stephen Hutchinson represent Ireland in the 2014 European Polo Championships at Chantilly in France on Saturday.
One of eight teams competing in two leagues, representing the great polo continents – Europe, the two Americas, and the southern continent – Ireland will appear at Apremont farm, site of the Chantilly Polo Club, the largest club in Europe.
The Irish team manager is Lord Beresford, and the competition will be against Spain in League B.
The European Polo Championships come at the end of the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
