Irish-bred Eventers get off to a strong start in USA

In the opening weekend of international eventing competition Irish-bred horses had multiple top ten finishes.

Securing the first international eventing win for an Irish-bred horse in 2023 was Corraghoe Brilliant (ISH) and American rider Ariel Grald on an impressive score of 24.8. The 8-year-old gelding by Tolan R (KWPN) out of Corraghoe Dreamer (ISH), by Lux Z (HANN), was bred by Cavan’s Patrick Smith.
