Irish Breeders Classic 2012

Bens Lady Lux (ISH) 2007 brown mare by Lux Z (HANN) out of Leading Edge (ISH) by Cavalier Royale (HOLST) bred by Ann Marie Blessington from Tober, Granard, Co. Longford and ridden by Harry Marshall took the inaugural Irish Breeders Classic in Barnadown Co. Wexford Sunday 16th September 2012.
The Classic which boasted some €50,000 in prize money was open to all Irish-bred five and six year olds. The level of prize money made the class the most valuable young horse class in the world. Five per cent of the prize fund will go to breeders with the winning breeder’s prize being €1,000, which is provided by Horse Sport Ireland.
