Irish eventers compete in World Championships this week

Team Ireland Equestrian’s eventers travel to Le Lion d’Angers (FRA) this weekend for the World Eventing Championships for Young Horses. The competition, which is open to 6 and 7 year old horses, kicks off on Thursday with the first of the dressage tests and will culminate on Sunday afternoon after the showjumping phase.
On the showjumping circuit, Irish riders compete in Longines World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix classes at Oslo (NOR), El Jadida (MOR) and Del Mar Fairgrounds California (USA). Irish showjumpers will also fly the flag at Tryon North Carolina (USA), St Tropez (FRA), Vilamoura (POR), Harrisburg Pennsylvania (USA), Oliva Valencia (ESP), Herning (DEN), Zwolle (NED), Chevenez (SUI), Dunkerque (FRA) and Lier (BEL). In dressage, Ireland will be represented at Le Mans (FRA).
