Irish eventers set for Nations Cup Final this weekend

Team Ireland Equestrian’s event riders head to Boekelo (NED) this weekend, for the final leg of the 2016 FEI Nations Cup Eventing Series. In 2015, Irish riders made history when the won the Nations Cup at Boekelo for the first time ever.
In showjumping, Ireland will be represented in two FEI World Cup shows this weekend, at Beijing (CHN) and Rabat (MAR). Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Irish riders will compete at Lexington Kentucky (USA), HOYS Birmingham (GBR), Opglabbeek (BEL), Dijon (FRA), Vilamoura (POR), Cagnes-Sur-Mer (FRA) and Chevenez (SUI).
To date this year, more than 5,840 international entries have been made for Irish riders competing in FEI disciplines worldwide. This weekend, 50 Irish internationals will compete at ten international venues across nine separate countries.
