Irish riders compete at World Jumping Championships for Young Horses

Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumpers compete in the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses this week at Lanaken (BEL). Action kicks off tomorrow (Thursday) with the first qualifiers in each of the age categories – 5 year old, 6 year old and 7 year old horses. The second qualifiers take place on Friday and the consolation classes on Saturday. Sunday will see the 5 Year Old Final taking place at 08.00 IST, with the 6 Year Old Final following at 11.30 IST and the 7 Year Old Final taking place at 14.30 IST.
Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Ireland will be represented at St Tropez (FRA), Gorla Minore (ITA), Canteleu (FRA) and Caledon Ontario (CAN). In eventing, Irish riders will fly the flag at Waregem (BEL), Blenheim (GBR) and Unionville Pennsylvania (USA).
