Irish riders head to Belgium for Rolex Grand Prix

Team Ireland Equestrian riders will be represented at the 5 star show in Brussels (BEL) this weekend, with the Rolex Grand Prix taking place on Sunday at 14.15 GMT and boasting a prize fund of €300,000. Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Irish riders compete at Bridgehampton New York (USA), Humlikon (SUI), Rockwood Ontario (CAN), Ising Am Chiemsee (GER) and Arezzo (ITA).
In eventing, Irish riders will fly the flag at Burghley (GBR). The British three day event is one of only six 4 star events held around the world each year.
This week, over 60 international entries have been made for 29 Irish riders competing in FEI competitions. To date in 2016, almost 5,300 entries have been made for Irish athletes competing globally.
