TWO IRISH SPORT HORSES LEAD THE FIELD AT BADMINTON

TWO Irish Sport Horses lead the field at four-star Badminton after the second day of Dressage.
In first place is Loughan Glen (ISH) – a 2003 gelding by Limmerick (HOLST) out of Tattymacall Mustard (ISH), by Cut the Mustard (IRE) (TB) and bred by Daragh Geraghty, Co. Galway. Loughan Glen is ridden by the USA’s Clark Montgomery.
Last night’s overnight leader is now holding second place – Kilronan (ISH) a 2001 gelding by Ghareeb (GB) (TB) out of Ramble Way (ISH), by Diamond Lad (ID), bred by Patrick Fenlon, Co. Kilkenny, and ridden by Australia’s Paul Tapner.
Saturday sees the beginning of the famous Badminton cross-country phase, which will be available on FEItv from 11am.
