Irish Sport Horse sponsored Young Event Horse Series qualifier – Rincoola

The second round of the Young Event Horse Series qualifiers took place in Rincoola Co. Longford on Wednesday June 14th 2017.

The Irish Sport Horse Studbook sponsor the 4 and 5-year-old classes, which had a total of 71 horses competing in Rincoola, with the aim of qualifying from the RDS Dublin Horse Show on 9th to 13th August 2017. The prizemoney is divided between the breeders, owners and riders of the qualified horses.

These classes are designed to produce young horses successfully for eventing while giving them an education on all aspects of Show Jumping, Cross Country and Dressage. The judging panel in Rincoola consisted of Patricia Collins, Allain Storm, Caroline Bjoerk, Jaki Doherty, Vida Tansey and June O’Reilly.

The next qualifier will take place in Forth Mountain, Co. Wexford on Wednesday 21st June. The final qualifier will take place in Tullylish on Wednesday 28th June and entries will close for this last qualifier in Tullylish by 5pm on Wednesday the 21st June 2017.
