Irish team announced for Friday’s five-star Polish Nations Cup

Horse Sport Ireland Show Jumping Team Manager Robert Splaine has announced his team for tomorrows (Friday) five-star Nations Cup fixture at Sopot in Poland.
The Irish team have been drawn last to go of 15 teams taking part and will line out as follows:
Cameron Hanley with Cas 2, owned by Cameron Hanley Show Jumpers
Jonathan Gordon with Number One 32, owned by Ursula Puschak
Alexander Butler with Hallowberry Cruz (ISH)(TIH), owned by Caroline Byrne
Darragh Kenny with Global Van T Braunerthof, owned by Karen Polle
Team Manager Robert Splaine said:
“This will be a big contest for us as it is a five-star event and I expect we will all learn a lot. Johnathan Gordon is making his debut on a Senior Nations Cup team and all our horses have never competed in a Nations Cup competition before.”
Sopot is hosting round five of the Nations Cup Europe Divison 2 league and as Ireland are a Division 1 team – they will not be eligible for league points.
The Polish Nations Cup at Sopot will start at 1pm Irish time, with the second round commencing at 4.40pm and will be available to watch live on FEI TV
