ISH Eventing League Winners Announced

FOLLOWING the final leg of the ISH Eventing League for four, five and six year old horses at Kilmanahan this weekend, the League winners have been revealed.

The winners are as follows:

6 YO League winner Cushlas Skyimp (ISH), ridden and owned by Emma Jackson, bred by William Donegan. Sire: Master Imp (TB) Dam: Sky Blue Rose (ISH) Points: 26

5 YO League winner Business Class (ISH), ridden and owned by Brianne Stanley, bred by Don Hadden. Sire: Harlequin Du Carel (SF) Dam: Moxella (OLD) Points: 22

4 YO League winner Willows Peeping Pocket (ISH) ridden and owned by Daisy Duggan, bred by Anthony Cregan. Sire: Chacoa (HOLST) Dam: Curraghchase Lady (ISH) Points: 28

Cushlas Skyimp (ISH) also won the six year-old leg at Kilmanahan, while Oldcourt Grafen Dance (ISH), ridden by Heidi Hamilton, was placed first in the five year-old competition. In the four year-old class, Drumnaconnell Toto Wolff (ISH) took the honours, ridden by Mark Robinson.

The prize fund on offer from Horse Sport Ireland for each leg of the series was 1,000 euro, and is in addition to Eventing Ireland Prize money. There will be a prize fund of 3,000 euro for the Owners’ League and 1,800 euro for the Breeders’ League.

Again this year there will be a prize in the amount of 500 euro for the top ISH mare of the series in each age category. In addition to the ISH Studbook Eventing Series there will be a prize fund of 5,000 euro on offer to the top Irish Sport Horses in selected classes throughout the summer. This series represents a 25,000 euro investment by Horse Sport Ireland

An awards reception will be held later this year for those riders, owners and breeders whose horses finished in the top three in their respective league. They will be invited to attend the awards reception to receive their prizes from the 2015 Series – further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
