ISH Eventing Series league results from Rosanna Sunday 19th May

Derena Super Star (ISH) won the first leg of the ISH Eventing Series EI110 6 Year Olds. Derena Super Star is bred by Francis Tubman and is owned by Richard Ames and was ridden to victory by Daniel Alderson. The mare is by Womanizer (KWPN), out of Miss Dallas(ISH).

BT Juste Capitaine (ISH) and Camilla Speirs won the ISH Eventing Series EI110 5 Year Olds. BT Juste Capitaine is owned by Bridget Speirs and Orla O’ Neill. The gelding out of Blennerville Edel (ISH) by Captain Carnute (ISH) was bred by Tim Hurley.

The breeder Tim Hurley from Kerry said today “I sold this horse as a foal and I’m delighted to hear he is doing so well.  Last year as a four year old he finished fourth in ISH Studbook Young Horse Eventing Series league. I bred him and still have his sire Captain Carnute (ISH) who is Approved in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook and nearly 70% Thoroughbred. Another one of Captain Carnute’s progeny which I bred was sold to the Bowe family who subsequently sold him to Oliver Townsend as a 3 year old in Goresbridge for €10,000.  Both the sire and dam of BT Juste Capitaine have a high Thoroughbred blood percentage which I think is important for eventing. I hope this horse will be successful to top level.”
