ISH Studbook Showjumping Series 2012 – Cavan

Third leg

The third leg of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series 2012 took place at Cavan Show 18th to 20 May 2012. The qualifier classes in all three age categories were held on Saturday, with the finals taking place on Sunday. There was a total of €9,500 in prize money on offer for these young horse classes over the weekend.
Sixteen horses started in Sunday’s 7 Year Old Final, with ten horses making it through to the jump-off which is run against the clock. Second into the ring for the jump-off, Harry Marshall and David Campbell’s stallion, Derryinver Luxury Cruise (ISH), left all the fences standing with a time of 37 seconds, which was to prove unbeatable as the duo took the 7 Year Old class. Derryinver Luxury Cruise was bred by Tom & Linda Magee, Cottage Stud, 22 Clonmakate Road, Birches, Portadown, Co. Armagh.
