Judy Reynolds and Vancouver K through to Saturday’s Freestyle Grand Prix at FEI Dressage World Cup Finals

Ireland’s Judy Reynolds and the Joe and Kathleen Reynolds-owned gelding Vancouver K have finished in 14th place in today’s opening Grand Prix competition at the FEI Dressage World Cup Finals in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Drawn first to go of the 18 competitors who qualified for the final, Reynolds and the 17-year-old gelding finished with a score of 69.860%, comfortably above the 60% mark needed to qualify for Saturday’s Freestyle To Music Grand Prix Final
Reigning champion and World No.1 Isabel Werth (GER) took the winners prize with Weihegold OLD with a score of 81.755%. America’s Laura Graves was in second with Verdades on 80.109%, while Denmark’s Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Zack finished third with a score of 78.152%.
All competitors will start on the same score in tomorrow’s Freestyle To Music Grand Prix to decide the winners, which gets underway at 3pm Irish time.
