Lennon wins Windsor Grand Prix with Loughview Lou Lou

FORMER World Champion Dermott Lennon from County Down won this afternoon’s (Sunday) Alltech Grand Prix at the three-star Royal Windsor horse show in England aboard Judith Sossick’s Irish Sport Horse Loughview Lou Lou.
A tightly-fought competition saw only four go through to the jump-off from a starting field of 28, but Lennon was just under two seconds faster than his nearest challenger, Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV when the clock stopped.
The Banbridge-born rider picked up 13,000 euro along with the The Kingdom of Bahrain Trophy, while Whitaker settled for the runner-up prize of 10,400 euro.
