List of essential service providers under new public health guidelines

The Government have today published a list of what are considered the essential service providers who are permitted to travel under the new Coronavirus restrictions announced on Friday.

This list includes Farmers, Farm labourers and Farm relief service workers, others involved directly or indirectly in crop and animal production and related activities (including veterinary services).

Horse Sport Ireland have sought further clarification from Government if the movement of horses, and in particular the movement of horses for breeding purposes, is included under these terms. HSI will issue a further update as soon as clarification is received.
