Irish Show Jumping Development Team Manager Michael Blake has announced his squad for next week’s three-star Division 2 Nations Cup which takes place at Drammen in Norway.
The Irish squad in full is:
Alexander Butler with Hallowberry Cruz (ISH)(TIH) – owned by Caroline Byrne
Shane Carey with Quantum KS – owned by Stall Kristineberg
Capt. Geoff Curran with Ringwood Glen (ISH) – owned by The Minister For Defence
Cameron Hanley with Quirex – owned by Patrick Mielnik
Mark McAuley with Utchan De Belheme – owned by Jocelyn Berthelot
Irish Show Jumping Development Team Manager Michael Blake (pictured) said:
“This is a very strong Irish squad with team members hoping to promote themselves onto the Super League squad later in the season. It will be a tough test in Drammen, with teams such as Britain and Belgium fielding their strongest teams hoping to gain points in their bid to get back into Division 1.”
As Ireland is a Division 1 nation, they will not be competing for points in the Drammen Nations Cup which takes place next Friday May 12th. Ireland will also be in Super League Division 1 Nations Cup action on the same day at La Baule in France.
