Michael Blake names Irish team for Friday’s Nations Cup in Norway

Irish Show Jumping Development Team Manager Michael Blake has named his team for tomorrow’s (Friday) three-star Nations Cup at Drammen in Norway.
Ireland have been drawn last to jump of nine teams and will line out as follows:
Sligo’s Richard Howley with Dolores – owned by Morgan Kent
Kildare’s Michael Pender with Casanova Van Overis Z – owned by Studfarm Overis & Bravo Hughes
Meath’s Alexander Butler with Theoreme Du Desir – owned by Wrenwood Stables & Jim Papp
Louth’s Mark McAuley with Jasco VD Bisschop – owned by Eva Lundin
Ireland are the defending champions having won the Drammen Nations Cup in 2017 with a team that included Alexander Butler, Mark McAuley, Cameron Hanley and Capt.Geoff Curran. Drammen is a Division 2 Nations Cup and as Ireland are a Division 1 team they will not be eligible for points.
The Drammen Nations Cup gets underway at 4pm Irish time.
