Murphy, O’Regan and Byrne grasp overall victory in a very competitive ISH SJ Series final at Coilog Equestrian

The final leg of the studbook series took place in Coilog on the 22^nd and 23^rd of July. There was €13,500 on offer in Coilog from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes.

Emelee (ISH) by Emerald Van’t Ruytershof (BWP) out of Lux Forever (ISH) by Lux Z (HANN), bred by John Hassett, owned and ridden by Catriona Redmond jumped double clear in a time of 30.90 seconds to win the 7-Year-Old Final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Show jumping Series at Coilog. Catriona had the fastest double clear in the 7-year-old class, she beat off stiff competition from the 6 combinations who made it through to the final.

In the 5-Year-old final Tracy Walshe jumped the quickest double clear to win, riding Ballinaguilkey Fusion Exchange (ISH) by Tullabeg Fusion (ISH) out of Ballinaguilkey Heidi (ISH) by OBOS Quality 004 (OLD), bred by John Walshe, and owned by Tracey Walshe. While in the 6-Year- Old, Seaview Demonstration (ISH) by FSS Correilli Bravo (ISH) out of Galloway Star (ISH) by Castlelawn Galloway(OLD) bred by James Keane, owned by Emma Horgan and ridden by Alan O’Regan had a superb round finishing in a time of 29.35.

The 5-year-old Irish Sport Horse Studbook series league champion was Shes Got It (ISH) by Luidam (KWPN) out of Lux Curious (ISH) by Lux Z (HANN) bred by Brian Murphy owned by Penny Murphy and ridden by Stephen Murphy. They accumulated a total of 51 points.

This year the overall 6-year-old Irish Sport Horse Studbook Series champion was Seaview Demonstration (ISH) by FSS Correilli Bravo (ISH) out of Galloway Star (ISH) by Castlelawn Galloway (OLD). Bred by James Keane, owned by Emma Horgan and ridden by Alan O’Regan. They finished on a total of 30 league points, having returned very consistent performances. This combination won the league having beat off stiff competition from Vincent Byrne and Bella Donna (ISH) .
