Nations Cup Final takes place at Barcelona this weekend

Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumping team will battle for victory in the Longines FEI Nations Cup Final, which takes place at Barcelona (ESP) from 5th to 7th October. Fifteen nations will be represented at Barcelona, with the final competition taking place on Sunday at 14.00 IST. There will be a total of €1.7 million on offer at the Spanish venue. Ireland, who finished second in the European Division 1 group, will be hoping for success over the three days of competition.
Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, Irish riders fly the flag at Sacramento California (USA), Columbus Johnstown Ohio (USA), Vilamoura (POR), Birmingham HOYS (GBR), Tryon North Carolina (USA), Opglabbeek (BEL), Oliva Valencia (ESP), Riesenbeck (GER) and Wiener Neustadt (AUT). In eventing action takes place at Leesburg Virginia (USA) and in endurance at Medlam (GBR).
