Nations Cup Final takes place in Barcelona this weekend

Team Ireland Equestrian’s showjumping team line out for the Longines FEI Nations Cup Final, which takes place at Barcelona (ESP) this weekend. 17 nations will compete at the Spanish venue over four days of competition. The first round of the Nations Cup Final will commence on Thursday (28th September) at 13.30 GMT with the top eight teams qualifying for round 2, which takes place on Saturday at 20.00 GMT.
Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, action takes place at Vilamoura (POR), Riesenbeck (GER), Gorla Minore (ITA), Bonheiden (BEL), Barbizon (FRA) and Johnstown Ohio (USA). In eventing, Ireland will be represented at Osberton (GBR) and Lignieres (FRA). In dressage, competition takes place at Devon Pennsylvania (USA) and in endurance at Plourivo (FRA).
This week 84 entries have been made for 34 Irish riders, competing in FEI competitions worldwide.
