O’Connor in overnight second place at Camphire

AFTER the dressage and show jumping phases, Austin O’Connor is best of the Irish at the CIC3* feature class at Camphire in Co. Waterford.
Riding Kilpatrick Knight (ISH)(TIH), O’Connor lies in overnight second place behind Australian leader Christopher Burton aboard Nobilis 18, with just three penalty points between them.
Close behind O’Connor is Sarah Ennis, in third place with BLM Diamond Delux (ISH), while 18 year-old Cathal Daniels and Rioghan Rua (ISH) hold fifth place. Patricia Ryan and Tullineaskey Hi Ho (ISH) are currently in sixth.
Burton also leads the CCI2* class with Santano II, while the CIC2* has been won by Ireland’s Clare Abbott and Glenkeeran River (ISH)(TIH).
