Pony European Championships take place this week

Team Ireland Equestrian will be represented at the European Championships for Ponies at Kaposvar (HUN) this weekend, fielding teams in showjumping, eventing and dressage. The dressage riders kick of their Championships first, with the showjumping and eventing Championships starting on Thursday.

In showjumping, Ireland will be represented at Hickstead (GBR) where the penultimate leg of the FEI Nations Cup Series 2017 for Europe Division 1 takes place. Elsewhere on the showjumping circuit, action takes place at Berlin (GER), Dinard (FRA), Samorin (SVK), Crans-Montana (SUI), Lier (BEL), Fontainebleau (FRA), Donaueschingen-Immenhofe (GER), Bromont Quebec (CAN) and Williamsburg Michigan (USA).

In eventing, Cappoquin Camphire (IRL) hosts a home international, while Ireland will also be represented at Alnwick Burgham (GBR) and Allentown New Jersey (USA). In dressage, action takes place at Hickstead (GBR) and in para dressage at Bishop Burton (GBR).
