Preparing Horses for HSI Inspections

THE Irish Draught Horse Society Ltd of Northern Ireland along with CAFRE are holding a Demonstration Evening, “Preparing Horses for Inspection”, on Wednesday 14th August 2013 at Portmore Equestrian Centre. The aim of the evening is to encourage people to bring their horses out to the inspections, which are being held in early September at Danescroft, Co. Antrim.
Each stage of the Inspection process will be explained and Inspectors will be able to point out what they are looking for and what they expect to see. There will also be a demonstration on how to prepare horses for the loose jumping phase of the Inspection.
The evening is open to everyone and is free to attend. Doors open at 6:30 and the demo will start at 7pm. The address for Portmore Equestrian Centre is 1 Georges Island Road, Aghalee, Lurgan, BT67 0DW.
