Results from HSI Foal Championship Qualifiers at Maryville 6th September 2022

The second leg of the Horse Sport Ireland Foal Championship Qualifiers was held on Tuesday 6^th September in Maryville Equestrian. This initiative is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

The day started with the Pony Eventing section which saw. Patrick O’Connor’s colt by Cottage Worker (LHI) out of Derryveeny Belle (CP) damsire Currachmore Cashel (CP) announced as the winner.

This was followed by the Pony Show Jumping section, the winner was Louise Brady’s filly foal by Bobby Rock (NRPS) out of Knocknahorgan Dreamer (CP) by Gurteen Lad (CP).

The Horse Eventing section had a nice amount of entries and all the traditional entries at this venue were in this section.

The winner here of both the Eventing Section and the Traditional Section was Bridget Murphy’s colt by Elusive Emir (TB) out of Bridevalley Goldie (ISH) by Errigal Flight (ISH).

The final section of the day was  Horse Show Jumping which was won by Alan Wheeler’s Carrera VDL (KWPN) filly out of Kappo Chino (ISH) damsire Pacino (BWP).
